Unreal Reality - Metamorphosis

Visual metamorphosis is a term used to indicate shape-shifting in art. It allows an artist to transform a shape representing one item into another shape representing something else. This, in turn, allows one meaning to be hidden behind another. It's very much part of what art does. In this series, an extension of my Unreal Reality work, digital stenciling is applied to an original Unreal Reality piece to allow the underlying textures to be visualized in a selective way. Subsequent manipulations of the stenciled textures complete the final revisualization of the original piece.
